Taskfied Return and Refund Policy

At Taskfied, we strive to create a fair and transparent marketplace for Buyers and Sellers. Our Return and Refund Policy outlines the process for resolving complaints, disputes, and refund requests in a clear manner. This policy ensures that all parties are treated fairly and that complaints are handled promptly and professionally.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be requested by Buyers under the following circumstances:
- Complaint Period: The Buyer must raise a complaint within 3 days of the delivery date to be eligible for a refund. After 3 days, refunds will not be processed unless otherwise agreed upon by Taskfied’s support team.
- Non-Delivery or Incomplete Delivery: If the Seller fails to deliver the agreed-upon service or provides incomplete work, the Buyer is eligible to request a refund.
- Quality Issues: If the delivered service does not meet the quality expectations as defined in the original order, the Buyer may request a refund or a revision within 3 days.
- Intellectual Property Violations: If the Buyer encounters any intellectual property issues (e.g., copyright infringement) due to the Seller’s work, the Buyer can request a refund.
2. Refund Process
- Raising a Complaint:
- To initiate a refund request, the Buyer must contact Taskfied Support within 3 days of the delivery date.
- The Buyer should provide clear details regarding the issue, including relevant communication with the Seller and any supporting documentation (e.g., screenshots, files).
- Investigation of the Complaint:
- Taskfied will review the complaint, assess the issue, and investigate the situation by checking communication between the Buyer and Seller, as well as any deliverables.
- Taskfied will notify both the Buyer and Seller if additional information is needed to process the complaint.
- Determination of the Refund Amount:
- Full Refund: If the complaint is deemed valid and the Buyer is found to be right (e.g., incomplete or faulty work, non-delivery), the Buyer will be entitled to a full refund.
- Partial Refund: If the work is partially completed or of substandard quality but not entirely unusable, a partial refund may be processed based on the degree of the issue.
- A partial refund may also be issued if the Buyer and Seller agree to settle the dispute amicably, but Taskfied determines that the service was still partially acceptable.
- Refund Rejection: If Taskfied determines the complaint is not valid (e.g., the Buyer did not follow the agreed-upon service description or is at fault), no refund will be issued.
- Refund Method:
- Approved refunds will be issued to the Buyer’s original payment method or Taskfied account balance, depending on the payment method used for the original transaction.
- Refunds may take up to 10 business days to process, depending on the payment provider and the refund method.
3. Seller’s Responsibilities
Sellers are expected to:
- Deliver Work on Time: Sellers must meet the deadlines agreed upon with the Buyer. Failure to deliver the work on time may result in a refund request.
- Quality of Work: Sellers must ensure that their work meets the quality standards and specifications outlined in the service description.
- Communication with Buyers: Sellers should communicate openly and professionally with Buyers regarding any issues or revisions related to the service provided.
- Dispute Resolution: Sellers are expected to cooperate with Taskfied’s support team to resolve disputes fairly.
4. Refund Policy Exceptions
Refunds will not be processed in the following circumstances:
- After the 3-Day Complaint Period: Complaints raised after the 3-day window will not be eligible for refunds unless Taskfied deems the circumstances exceptional or the Seller fails to respond within a reasonable time frame.
- Buyer’s Change of Mind: Refunds will not be provided if the Buyer simply changes their mind or no longer requires the service unless the Seller fails to deliver or meet the agreed-upon terms.
- Incorrect Deliverables: If the Buyer provides incorrect information or fails to provide necessary details for the Seller to complete the service, no refund will be issued.
- Violation of Taskfied Policies: If a Buyer or Seller violates Taskfied’s policies (such as engaging in fraudulent activities, violating copyright laws, etc.), no refund will be granted.
5. Dispute Resolution
- Taskfied’s Role: In case of any dispute between the Buyer and Seller regarding a refund request, Taskfied will act as a mediator and will attempt to resolve the issue in a fair and transparent manner. Taskfied reserves the right to make the final decision based on the available evidence.
- Escalation: If a resolution cannot be reached between the Buyer and Seller, Taskfied may escalate the matter to an internal review. Taskfied’s decision in such cases will be binding and final.
6. Fraudulent Refund Claims
- Investigations: Taskfied reserves the right to investigate any suspicious or fraudulent refund claims. If a Buyer or Seller is found to be submitting false claims, their account may be suspended or terminated.
- Account Suspension: Taskfied may suspend or terminate the account of any User engaging in fraudulent activities related to refund requests.
7. Limitations of Liability
- Platform’s Role: Taskfied acts as an intermediary platform for Buyers and Sellers to connect and facilitate transactions. Taskfied is not responsible for any disputes or failures related to the actual services provided, except as outlined in this Refund Policy.
- No Liability for Third-Party Services: Taskfied is not responsible for any external services, products, or actions outside of the services offered directly on the platform.
